Disable that add-on and you won’t have any more problems.

Tabs open relative is abandoned and does not support 3.6, besides Firefox has the behavior to open relative tabs next to current... anyway if you want a better alternative (a lot better) use Tabberwocky, it has even more features.
As far as I remember, the addon was very much alive and kicking by the time I wrote about the problem. But in any case, I just wanted to share with the world the solution to the problem;)
